August 25, 2019 - Following the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS), Dereck Ramirez was one 21 cars signed in at Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa) on Thursday evening for the 13th annual Casey Clash. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Ramirez earned the 6th-starting position for the A-Main. Overtaking Hunter Marriott for the lead by the fourth lap, Dereck held the top spot for the next 17 circuits until Jake O’Neil snuck by. He held on to a 6th place finish in the remaining the distance.

On Friday night at Rapid Speedway (Rock Rapids, Iowa), Ramirez scored a runner-up finish behind Jake O’Neil which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the A-Main. Breaking into a podium spot, Dereck improved five spots to place 3rd behind Terry Phillips and Ryan Gustin with Don Gerritsen Jr. and Hunter Marriott rounding out the Top-5 finishers.

The following night at Nobles County Speedway (Worthington, Minnesota) for the ninth annual Summer Slam, Dereck streaked to an 8-lap heat race victory locking his spot into the main event. Breaking into the Top-5, Ramirez jumped up three spots to place 5th behind Jake O’Neil, Terry Phillips, Ryan Gustin, and Hunter Marriott.

For the final night for the four-day stretch with the USMTS on Saturday at Casino Speedway (Watertown, South Dakota), Dereck secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Adam Kates. Holding his spot for all 40-laps, Ramirez scored a 5th place finish behind Terry Phillips, Jake O’Neil, Rodney Sanders, and Hunter Marriott.

August 17, 2019 - On Wednesday night Dereck Ramirez kicked off four-nights of action with the United States Modified Touring Series at I-35 Speedway (Winston, Missouri) for the 10th annual Missouri Meltdown. Passing four cars in his heat, Ramirez recorded a 2nd place finish behind Darron Fuqua. Improving two spots in the feature, Dereck notched a 5th place finish behind Rodney Sanders, Hunter Marriott, Terry Phillips, and Zack VanderBeek.

The following night at Dallas County Speedway (Urbana, Missouri), Ramirez locked his spot into the $2,500-to-win A-Main with a 8-lap heat race victory. Rolling off 8th, Dereck wheeled his way into podium spot early and began tracking down race-leader Ryan Gustin. After slipping by for one circuit on lap 38, Dereck Ramirez lost the lead one lap later to place 2nd behind Gustin with Hunter Marriott, Rodney Sanders, and Dean Willie trailing them to the checkers.

For the seventh annual ARMI Salute to our Veterans at Salina Highbanks Speedway (Salina, Oklahoma) on Saturday, Ramirez started the night off with a heat race victory which positioned him 3rd on the starting gird for the $3,100-to-win finale. After overtaking Hunter Marriott for the lead on lap 19, Dereck dropped one spot in the remaining distance scoring a 2nd place finish behind Rodney Sanders with Hunter Marriott, Tyler Wolff, and Ryan Gustin completing the Top-5 finishers.

August 10, 2019 - Dereck Ramirez raced his Ramirez Motorsports No. 4r Koda Services/ Boom-Test Well Service/ Hughes Race Car/Cornett Racing Engine Modified to a pair of podium finishes over the weekend in Casey’s Hunt competition with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).

“We had a really good weekend and came away with a pair of podium finishes to show for our efforts,” Ramirez said. “We’re digging deep to make a run at this Casey’s Hunt title. The upcoming weekend has four races scheduled and could be pivotal in how this point’s deal shakes down, so we know that we’ve got to do our part to get the job done.”

Friday night brought the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) to I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minnesota) for the fifth annual Casey’s General Stores Summersota Nationals. Passing four cars in his heat, Dereck Ramirez scored a third-place finish, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Advancing one position in the feature, Dereck notched a runner-up finish behind Landon Atkinson with Zack VanderBeek, Rodney Sanders, and Blake Jegtvig rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday night at Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) for the Modified Madness event, Dereck locked his spot into the main event with a runner-up finish in his heat race. Starting the 40-lap feature in third, Ramirez ran in a podium position throughout the feature before registering a third-place finish behind Dan Ebert and Rodney Sanders with Terry Phillips and Shane Sabraski completing the Top-5 finishers.

August 3, 2019 - Dereck Ramirez was one of 33 United States Modified Touring Series entries registered in for battle at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kansas) on Thursday night. Gaining one spot in his heat, Ramirez scored a 3rd place finish which locked him into the 12th-starting position for the opening night feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Dereck passed 10 cars reeling in a 2nd place finish behind Terry Phillips with Rodney Sanders, Hunter Marriott, and Dan Powers rounding out the Top-5.

The following night at Monett Motor Speedway (Monett, Missouri) for the Missouri Nationals, Ramirez secured his spot into the $2,500-to-win finale with a 3rd place finish in his heat. After leading the first 17 circuits, Dereck surrendered the top spot to Rodney Sanders and went on to place 2nd behind Sanders with Jake O’Neil, Hunter Marriott, and Tyler Wolff completing the Top-5 finishers.
